Across the Westdale Group we are proud to be playing our part in the drive towards decarbonisation – and contributing to the country’s aim for net zero by providing insulation systems and innovative technical support for projects in both the retrofit and new build housing sectors.

Our services are tailored to the needs of local authorities, housing associations and principal contractors for both social housing and commercial properties.

We provide people with a warmer, cosier and much more energy efficient home, while also reducing outside noise and improving the thermal comfort in the property.

And in doing those things not only do we help people save money on their energy bills but also help them reduce their carbon footprint, which is obviously better for the environment.

Delivering a positive contribution to the government’s plans for net zero by 2050. That’s a key touch point for us.

Our industry has always thrown up challenges and one of the current ones, which will continue to reverberate into the future, is how we encourage, recruit and train people in sufficient numbers to come into our working environment to help tackle the carbon conundrum.

Here at the Westdale Group we are actively arming the next generation with the tools, knowledge and skills to make their own impact – and carve out a satisfying career.

Westdale North Limited have a clear pathway through their successful External Wall Insulation apprenticeship scheme, Structherm Ltd take young people through their own ‘Construction Design and Build Technician’ apprenticeship, while Westdale Midlands continue to make big waves with their burgeoning Training Academy, where they take unemployed people from the local area and offer them a course in the application of EWI, with the prospect of gaining full-time employment with the organisation.
